A Big THANK YOU! Ms Coty's Fall Top 10!

It’s hard to believe that we are ending 2025! This year has brought lots of excitement, and we are so grateful to everyone who made it possible.  We have made so many special memories this session. Here are my top 10 favorite MCCA moments of Fall 2025. 

1: First week of class

This is always a special week because we get to welcome new faces and reconnect with old friends. I love the buzz of the studio and the magic of starting a new session together. 

2: Spirit & Service Week

This week is always so magical. We enjoy class parties, themed dress-up days, collecting donations for the Food Bank and Animal Shelter, and we ended the week with a MASSIVE K-Pop Kids Night Out Party. 

3: Halloween Parade Show

Performing on Main St for Halloween is one of my most favorite events. The Beetlejuice cast rocked Main St with a truly electric performance!

4: JumpStart Theatre Bootcamps

The MCCA team hosted 10 JumpStart Theatre teachers at our kickoff Bootcamp. Teachers learned new skills on how to create and run their school theatre programs. The day was full of collaboration, creativity, and connection. 

5: MCCA Staff Meetings

I am so proud of our MCCA team and all we have accomplished. I love coming together for our team meetings and working together to continue to make MCCA the best it can be. We also just really enjoy each other, so staff meetings give us a chance to connect, laugh, and plan fun activities for our students. 

6: MCCA Wicked Kids Night Out

This night was a true highlight! I loved seeing students come in and celebrate their love of Wicked! I got goosebumps when all of our students came to Studio 4 and all sang “Defying Gravity.” It was a powerful moment to remind us that we are all truly unlimited. 

7: MCCA Holiday Magic

Our MCCA Holiday Magic class truly spread Christmas cheer all across the county! We had a blast singing at The Canal Festival of Lights, the Frostburg Tree Lighting, and at Storybook Holiday. Seeing our community gather together to share in the magic of the holiday season is always special. 

8: VIP Week

We have so much to be grateful for at MCCA, and it is always great to reflect on our many blessings and celebrate with each other. VIP Week is such a fun week, getting to know our MCCA families and celebrating all of the hard work our students have poured into their classes.

9: Luminary Showcase Demi-Grande Party

Ms. Jamie created a truly unforgettable night for the Luminary dancers! Dancers shared their dances with all levels and got to “unwrap” their big sister mentor. The Demi-Grande program is a mentorship program created by Ms. Jamie to foster community, belonging, and guidance among the Luminary dancers. Dancers in levels 1 and 2 are paired with levels 3 and 4 dancers. It is a fantastic program and a really fun way to end the 2025 dance season.

10: Showcase Week

There is nothing quite like Showcase Week. We have 6 shows this year! Everyone is buzzing with excitement, and the MCCA team works so hard to keep everything organized, efficient, and joyous for the whole family. I’m looking forward to seeing our students shine!
