DANCE
Spring Session 2 registration opens 3/16.
The MCCA dance program provides students of all ages and all levels the opportunity to pursue their love of movement within a safe and supportive environment. Students can choose from recreational classes or move into our pre-professional training program. MCCA's Dance Studio classes focus on technical advancement, creative expression, and positive professional attitudes.

DEVELOPMENTAL TRACK
Developmental Track is geared toward the student that wants to explore movement, expression, and learn the technical aspect of dance while having FUN! We create a secure and safe space for your student to grow, connect, and make life-long friends.

Mini and Me A
Mini Me is a class for 2–3 year olds who are ready to explore music, movement, and imaginative play in a structured, creative environment. Through singing, creative movement, and guided exploration, students build confidence, coordination, and early social skills, with a grown-up alongside them for support and connection. This class offers a thoughtfully structured, creativity-led experience designed to support continued growth and exploration.

Mini and Me B

A combo class (Pre-K 4 through 1st Grade) featuring an introductory level of Ballet and Tap. The goal of this class is to encourage creativity, imagination, introduce the foundations of dance, and to teach the appropriate classroom conduct in a safe and positive environment.

Ballet/Tap 1 B

A combo class (Grades K-2) featuring a Beginner/intermediate level of Ballet and Tap. The goal of this class is to encourage creativity, imagination, introduce the foundations of dance, and to teach the appropriate classroom conduct in a safe and positive environment.

Lyrical 1
Enjoy learning the basics of Lyrical dance, a style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics and modern dance. The goal of this class is to encourage creativity, imagination, introduce the foundations of dance, and to teach the appropriate classroom conduct in a safe and positive environment.

Intermediate Tap/Jazz
A combo class (Grades 6-12) featuring a beginner/intermediate level of Tap and Jazz. The goal of this class is to encourage creativity, imagination, introduce the foundations of dance, and to teach the appropriate classroom conduct in a safe and positive environment.

Teen Hip Hop
Beginner hip hop class (Grades 6-12) consisting of a warm-up, progressions across the floor, and a center combo. Hip hop classes will teach rhythm, and musicality, and focus on individual expression while using family-friendly hip hop music. The goal of this class is to encourage creativity, imagination, introduce the foundations of dance, and to teach the appropriate classroom conduct in a safe and positive environment.

PRE-PROFESSIONAL CLASSES
MCCA is now offering a full pre-professional training program. This program is for the student dedicated to pursuing a professional career in the performing arts, wanting more demanding classes, or wanting to pursue dance in college. This structured track is designed to enhance the students' technical advancement, build artistry, and prepare them for the professional world. Instructor permission is required for pre-professional classes.
