Student Shoutout: Cassidy

Cassidy is a beautiful human and such an inspiration to everyone. She works hard and faces her fears and steps outside of her comfort zone to continue fortifying her performing arts journey and beyond. - Jamie

Why do you love taking classes at MCCA?

I love MCCA because it is an environment where I can feel safe to be myself and not be afraid to mess up. I have made the best friends at MCCA and have the most amazing mentors there.

What classes do you take at MCCA?

I am currently enrolled in ballet class and I was apart of the 10 year anniversary concert that just took place.

What do you love to do outside of MCCA?

Outside of MCCA, I do show choir and drama club at Allegany Highschool, as well as community theater.

What is your favorite subject at school?

My favorite school subject is art because I like to express my creativity and really enjoy drawing.

What is your favorite memory from MCCA?

My favorite MCCA memory was right after the cast of Newsies Jr and I had performed our set of 13 Jr at JTF. We all came off stage, started happy-crying, and gave out hugs.

If you could go anywhere in the world right now where would you go?

If I could go anywhere right now, I would go to Disney world with my family.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

When I grow up I want to pursue a career in theater and hopefully someday be on Broadway.
