MCCA Teach Profile Ms. Mia

How long have you been a teacher at MCCA? What do you teach?

This is my second year teaching at MCCA and I am ecstatic to continue teaching! This semester, I am teaching Dream Chasers Ballet and Teen Hip-Hop!!

What are you most excited about for our 10 Year Anniversary

EVERYTHING! Especially our 10 Year Showcase!

If you could have a superpower what would you choose?

I would love to be able to time travel!! Getting to visit the past but also take a peek at the future would be pretty cool.

If you could have dinner with any two people from history, alive or dead, who would you choose?

Nelson Mandela and Marie Antoinette. I feel like that would be a rollercoaster of a conversation, but I would love it.

Who is your role model and why?

I have the privilege of having so many role models! Both of my parents have set the perfect example of being a good human in so many ways. But I also have the strong women of MCCA who have and will forever inspire me to be my best self, unapologetically.

If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

Oh gosh. I am forever reliving my time in Iceland, so maybe there. But honestly anywhere my whole family is, is my favorite place on earth.

Outside of MCCA - what else are you involved in?

I am actually currently a student at Frostburg State!! I am a health science major on the premedical track, so I’m almost constantly involved in school work! I am often doing shows at the college or in the community. Besides that, I spend my time either

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Lack of an oxford comma. Always.

How do you define success?

Success to me means that you are genuinely happy.

Describe yourself in three words

Bright, Affectionate, Empathetic
