Thankful Moments at MCCA

Reflecting on all that we are thankful for here at Mountain City Center for the Arts has to be one of my favorite things ever. Every parent, guardian, friend, and family member of an MCCA student always reflects on every moment with such love and joy, and that has to be the sweetest testament to our work. 🩷 We love what we do, and we are so glad everyone feels the same. I went around and asked some family members what the moments at MCCA are that they are most thankful for, and let me tell you… I agree with ALL of them. 🤩

“Watching my kid light up on stage… seeing their whole face glow and their confidence bloom the second those lights hit them.” Moments like these remind all of us why the arts matter — our students discover strength and joy they didn’t even know they had.

“Being in the room during JTF performances and watching them give it everything… the energy, the heart, and the cheers that fill the room are unforgettable.” The Junior Theatre  Festival brings out a powerful sense of unity, showing just how hard our kids work and how deeply they love what they do.

“Everyone cheering and loving on them… hearing support from kids, parents, and teachers all at once feels like one big family celebrating together.” That loud, loving encouragement is the heartbeat of our community. Our goal is that every child feels lifted up. 🥹

“Seeing the friends they make at MCCA… friendships that happen naturally, quickly, and with so much love and joy.” These connections make rehearsals brighter, classes more fun, and memories that last far beyond the studio.

“How much the teachers love their kids… you can truly feel the care, the patience, and the pride they have in every student.” Our staff pours so much heart into each child, and parents see it in every interaction, every class, every big moment.

We are oh so thankful for every human in our MCCA family–and we are so glad you feel the same. 🥰
