How long have you been a student, favorite classes, favorite memories, what you’ve learned, what you’ve gained, etc.
I started at MCCA over the summer of my senior year with the JTF production “Singin’ in the Rain Jr.” Then I participated in “Descendants” as Doug, and not long after that I was asked to be a student ambassador. I was an ambassador for Musical Theater 1 & 2 and worked as student assistant director in Legally Blonde Jr. My favorite class is definitely Legally Blonde, it has helped me learn how to communicate better, and how to see things from different perspectives.
Describe your senior year in three words.
Interesting, Difficult, Awesome!
If you could change one school rule, what would it be?
Assigned seating at lunch :(
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Alumni from FSU with a degree in Psychology and Theatre. Going back to Bishop Walsh to help direct their musical, and hopefully teaching theatre to kids of all ages.
What is the most challenging task as a senior?
The pressure from parents and school administration to get everything done for college as early as possible, and then to make those decisions that will impact my life in a moments notice.
I am most grateful for...
The opportunities I’ve had with Bishop Walsh Spartan Theatre and MCCA. I don’t think I would have found my passion for teaching if it were not for MCCA.
What is your dream college and why?
John’s Hopkins University - I want to study equine assisted therapy and conduct studies to better the lives of kids with down syndrome, executive function disorders, and mental disorders. JHU has the best psych program in the state of Maryland and I would be honored to attend their programs.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Roatan Island, Honduras - The most beautiful island in Central America, plus I have a friend who lives nearby and I would love to be able to hang out with them often.
