Hi MCCA family! We are so excited to be highlighting our amazing “Magic” performance group again and all of the hard work they’ve been doing!
The MCCA Magic mission is to cultivate a brave space in which the students can:
Work with team members in a professional and respectful manner, develop life skills, become independent thinkers and creative explorers, develop a deeper understanding of commitment and dedication to performing arts training, foster empathy and compassion with fellow team members, apply vocal, dance, and acting skills learned in MCCA classes to live performances and events, and rehearse and perform in a variety of events in the community.
Our “Magic” students have been working so hard on their holiday sets for a variety of events we have coming up! You can catch us at the following events!
- Celebration of Lights and Holiday Market at Canal Place on November 30th at 5 pm
- Frostburg Tree Lighting at St. Mike's on December 1st at 6:30 pm
- Holding Hands for Haley “Christmas at the Goat” on December 4th at 6:15 pm
- Storybook Holiday Kickoff on December 7th at 10:15 am
Our talented performers will take you on a musical journey through the season's favorites, including Sleigh Ride, No Place Like Home for the Holidays, Marshmallow World, and MORE! It’s a set you WON’T want to miss!
MCCA has been performing the Storybook Holiday kick-off since the very beginning of MCCA in 2013! We look forward to this every year and would love for you to join us for our next exciting performance! We can’t WAIT to spread holiday cheer in our community and hope to see you there!
If your student is looking for a brave, kind, and welcoming space to perform, volunteer, and create magic, this is the group for you! Please email quinn@mymcca.com with any
