Get Ready For The Arts Walk!

Updated: Apr 18

Hey MCCA family and arts lovers! We're thrilled to invite you to one of the most vibrant celebrations of creativity in our community – the Frostburg Arts Walk! It's a day dedicated to all things art, from visual creations and handcrafted treasures to dynamic performances lighting up the downtown streets. And this year, MCCA is proud to be part of the magic once again!

MCCA Arts Walk

The Spring Arts Walk is an annual event that brings artists, musicians, performers, and community members together to celebrate local creativity, right here in Frostburg! Businesses throughout downtown Frostburg transform into pop-up galleries and performance spaces, showcasing the diverse talent our region has to offer.

MCCA will be spotlighting two of our talented groups:

  • The cast of Elephant and Piggie – Get ready for a whimsical performance based on Mo Willems’ beloved characters! Our students will bring the silly, heartwarming antics of Gerald and Piggie to life.

  • The Accelerated Musical Theatre class – These awesome young performers have been working hard on their singing, dancing, and acting—and they're ready to hit the stage with a super fun, high-energy show!

Where & When?

-Saturday, April 26th from 11:00-11:30am-St. Michael’s Courtyard (in front of the church) on Main Street in Frostburg

Our performance kicks off the fun with a burst of music, movement, and storytelling that’s perfect for families and kids of all ages! After the performance, stick around for a special interactive workshop with the Elephant and Piggie cast! Kids will get to meet the characters, explore theater games, and even take part in creating music and movement of their own!

Whether your child is already involved or just thinking about stepping into the spotlight, this is a perfect opportunity to see the heart of what we do! So grab your friends, bring the family, and stroll through the artsy side of town this weekend. We’ll see you at St. Mike’s at 11am—you won’t want to miss it!
