The lines are memorized.
The choreography is sharp.
The tech is ready to go.
And yes, we pulled it all together in just 11 days.
This weekend, the incredibly dedicated cast and crew of MCCA’s Pre-Professional JTF Company brings Beetlejuice Jr. to the stage at Mountain Ridge High School. I couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished, and I cannot wait for you to experience the magic we’ve created.
Putting together a Junior Theatre Festival production is a unique experience. Our students don’t get the luxury of a two or three month rehearsal process. Instead, they dive headfirst into an accelerated, professional-style rehearsal schedule. In just over a week, they’ve learned lines, memorized choreography, tackled technical elements, and built a full-scale musical from the ground up. It’s intense, fast-paced, and unbelievably rewarding.
The result is something truly special. These students have shown incredible teamwork, adaptability, and support for one another. They’ve brought Beetlejuice Jr. to life with so much passion and heart. It’s more than a show, it’s a joyful, spooky, and hilarious celebration of creativity and collaboration.
Beetlejuice Jr. is a kooky, family-friendly musical packed with laugh-out-loud moments, catchy songs, and a few otherworldly surprises. From mischievous ghosts to unexpected appearances (keep your eyes peeled for a Sandworm), this show is a wild ride that audiences of all ages will love.
Show Schedule

Saturday, June 29 at 7 PM — ASL interpreted

We are also proud to offer ASL interpretation during both Friday performances to ensure this show is accessible to more members of our community.
This performance marks the beginning of our journey with Beetlejuice Jr. as we prepare to take this production to the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta in January 2026. We hope you’ll join us for this exciting kickoff and support these young artists as they showcase their talent, dedication, and love for musical theatre.
See you at the show!
Ms. Jacki
