Students from Mountain City Center for the Arts found success at the 2017 Junior Theatre Festival, held recently at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.
Hosted by iTheatrics, students earned several accolades, including a national award, the Freddie G Award for Excellence in Acting, one of 15 groups selected out of 111 educational musical theater groups attending from 28 states, the District of Columbia, Australia and New Zealand.
Produced by the Junior Theater Group in partnership with iTheatrics, a leading educational theater company that creates innovative experiences and products for the public and private sector, the Junior Theater Festival is the world’s largest festival celebrating young people and the power of musical theater, according to a news release.
