A Wickedly Magical Night Out for Our Community

As the excitement builds for the new Wicked movie hitting theaters soon, we could not think of a better way to celebrate than by bringing our community together for a night filled with music, creativity, and a whole lot of magic. At Mountain City Center for the Arts, musical theatre is not just something we teach. It is part of who we are. It empowers kids, builds confidence, sparks imagination, and creates friendships that last far beyond the stage. That is why our Kids Night Out events are always open to the entire community, not just MCCA students. Everyone deserves a chance to experience the joy of performing arts.

Our last Kids Night Out was a huge success. The K-pop themed evening sold out two weeks early and filled the studio with incredible energy, smiles, and unforgettable memories. The response from families reminded us exactly why we host these events. Kids from all over the area came together, made new friends, danced their hearts out, and left feeling more confident, creative, and connected. That sense of community is the heartbeat of everything we do at MCCA, and it is why we are so excited to launch something even bigger.

✨ Grades K through 12 Kids Only

✨ Mini and Me ages 2 through 4 must be accompanied by at least one adult and up to two adults are welcome. No adult ticket required

With Wicked Part Two on the way, the world is buzzing about Glinda, Elphaba, and the magic of Oz all over again. For so many of our students, this story is their first glimpse into the power of musical theatre. The storytelling, the movement, the music, the emotion, and the transformation all play a role in helping young performers discover who they are and what they are capable of. For our community, it is the perfect reminder of how the arts can bring people together in the most meaningful ways.

Our Wicked Kids Night Out is more than an event. It is a celebration of everything we love about performing arts, and we want every child in the community to experience it.

Kids will step into their very own Emerald City adventure with activities inspired by the world of Wicked.

🎶 Wicked Sing Along Room

Kids will warm up their voices and sing their favorite songs from the soundtrack including Popular, Defying Gravity, and For Good.

💃 Learn a Wicked Themed Dance

Our teaching artists will guide dancers of all levels through a fun routine that captures the spirit and style of the show.

🕹 Explore the Emerald City Game Room

Kids will have a blast with themed games that encourage teamwork, creativity, and plenty of laughter.

🎨 Create Enchanting Crafts

Participants can make their own magical creations inspired by the colors and characters of Oz.

🍿 Enjoy Delicious Snacks

Light refreshments will be served to fuel all the fun and creativity throughout the night.

Whether your child loves musical theatre, dance, singing, or simply wants a fun night out, this event is the perfect way to celebrate friendship, imagination, and community. It is also a wonderful introduction to the world of musical theatre and an exciting way to build anticipation for the release of Wicked Part Two.
