MCCA Outreach

Mountain City Center for the Arts is not just about inspiring great performers, but about ensuring that our students and staff are good stewards in the surrounding community.  We believe in Motivating Courageous and Compassionate Artists – it’s our motto and our name: MCCA!

We make every effort to spread the message about the value of the performing throughout our area.  Our students take an active role in the community in helping others receive the gifts of the arts.  We volunteer throughout the area including the annual Arts Walk, Arts in the Schools in Allegany County, the local 2018 Resilience Project, Pig in the Park 2018, Frostburg’s Pirates Ahoy, the Divine Mercy Parish Picnic and more.

In addition to volunteering our students and staff participate in our own Spirit and Service week.  Throughout this week, we collect donations of all kinds that go to supporting local charities, groups and individuals in need.

Details about each of our events are available by selecting them in the drop down menu at the top of our page.  If you have an interest in MCCA participating in your community event, please reach out to us online, at the center or contact our Community Service Coordinator Jacki Dixon
