Your role at MCCA: I am a private piano and voice lesson instructor! I also teach musical theatre and I am a part of our production teams for musicals, you can often find me music directing or helping on the technical side of things!
Who would play you in a movie and why?: Probably Jennifer Lawrence, she’s super goofy and fun!

What is your favorite part of being an MCCA Teacher? I love the feeling of walking into MCCA and getting to do what I love alongside the best staff ever and the most wonderful students. Watching students learn and become caring and compassionate artists is the most beautiful thing and I am so grateful to be apart of it.

Liz's Bio
Liz O’Neal is a lover of musicals, an adventurer, and an energetic and passionate teacher! She is a proud MCCA alumni and is so excited to return as a staff member!! Liz has been performing for 7 years and was an MCCA student for 5 years where she was a part of the pre-professional programs and the JTF program. She has an extensive background in voice and musical theatre and she also dabbles dancing in jazz and tap! You may have seen Liz perform in multiple musicals and events locally! Some of her favorite roles have been Olive in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Ariel in the Little Mermaid, Katherine in Newsies, and Marian in the Music Man. Liz was also Charlotte in the JTF 23’ New Works Showcase performance of 13 Jr. where MCCA students performed in front of 7,000 people in Atlanta, Georgia.
Liz is currently taking a gap year to focus fully on teaching and training! She plans to attend college for a BFA in musical theatre or for music education and continue her love for the arts! In Liz’s free time, you can find her drinking an iced coffee and most likely reading a book or crocheting! Or of course spontaneously breaking into song! She enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching disney movies, playing piano, and pink and yellow!
Liz is beyond thrilled to continue her MCCA journey as a teacher and join the fierce and amazing MCCA staff she has gotten the privilege to know and love over the years.
