In consideration of my child(ren) being allowed to participate in the Golden – K-Pop Kids Night Out event at Mountain City Center for the Arts (“MCCA”), I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, hereby agree as follows:

1. Acknowledgment of Voluntary Participation

I understand and acknowledge that my child’s participation is voluntary. I have had the opportunity to ask questions regarding the nature of this event and fully consent to my child’s participation.

2. Assumption of Risk

I recognize and understand that participation may involve inherent and unforeseen risks, including, but not limited to, slips, trips, falls, collisions, property damage, illness, or other accidents that could result in serious injury or death. I knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of MCCA, its officers, directors, owners, managers, employees, contractors, volunteers, agents, landlords, lessors, successors, or assigns (“Releasees”).

3. Release of Liability and Waiver of Claims

On behalf of myself and my child(ren), I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Releasees from and against any and all liability, claims, actions, causes of action, damages, or losses, whether in law or equity, arising out of or related to my child’s participation, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Indemnification / Hold Harmless

I further agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, expenses, and liabilities (including attorney’s fees) brought by or on behalf of my child(ren), myself, my family, or any third party, arising out of or connected in any way to participation in this event.

5. Medical Authorization

In the event of illness, accident, or medical emergency involving my child(ren), I authorize MCCA and its representatives to obtain necessary medical care, including emergency treatment, hospitalization, or transportation. I agree to be financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

6. Behavioral Expectations

I understand that my child is expected to behave respectfully and safely. Inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe conduct may result in removal from the event, with no refund provided, and I may be required to pick up my child at my own expense.

7. Media Release

 I consent to MCCA photographing or recording my child during the event for promotional use in print, online, or social media. No fees will be paid for the use of the images. 

8. Severability

​

If any provision of this agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

9. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Maryland.
