Who would play you in a movie and why?: I wish I could say like Tom Hanks or something, but really I think Adam Sandler would do really well. His acting style combined with the craziness of my life really would make a great movie.

What is your favorite part of being an MCCA Teacher? While I'm not a teacher, I think my favorite part of being with MCCA is the amazing and supportive team I get to work with. Everyone is easy going and positive for the students and they create a very positive work environment!

Carson's Bio
Carson Luther is currently a junior at Frostburg State University studying Theatre and Business Administration. His concentration in theatre is focused around design and technology and arts administration. Some accomplishments while attending FSU include, Touring Manager and Technical Director for Nate the Great: The Musical children's touring show, Lighting Designer for Martin and Margaret and the M.I.N.D.S.W.A.P., and Assistant Stage Manager for Where Words Once Were. He has been seen on stage as well as Ernst in Spring Awakening, and Charles Bingley in Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberley, both of which were hosted at FSU.
Outside of FSU, Carson has both performed and managed multiple shows. At Mountain City Center for the Arts, he recently Stage Managed and Lighting Designed Alice in Wonderland, Jr. for MCCA’s pre-professional company. As a student at MCCA, he performed in various roles in both pre-professional productions and summer camp productions. Carson has also attended the United States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT) annual conference and stage expo, in both St. Louis and Seattle. The USITT conference and expo is a way for theatre practitioners to connect with each other and learn more about their craft. While in attendance, Carson attended classes that allowed him to learn more about event management, stage management, lighting design, and arts administration. All of the skills he learned at the conference will be able to be applied to his professional career.
Carson is thrilled to be working at MCCA and hopes to grow as the company grows. He loves working alongside amazing people, students, and parents. The MCCA family continues to amaze him every day.
